What is an Antenna Extension?
A standard SiriusXM Radio home antenna for comes with 22 feet of cable attached to the antenna. Satellite Radio antenna extensions are used to extend the length any SiriusXM antenna cable to accommodate longer cable runs. Antenna extensions come in various sizes starting at 6 inches and going all the way up to 100 feet. One end of the antenna extension connects to the connector on the antenna cable and the other end of the extension connects to the receiver into the antenna port.
For long runs you may need an inline amplifier
When using antenna extensions that are 50 feet or more you may need to add an inline amplifier model number SBA-1 (made by Pixel Technologies).
